When it comes to losing belly fat, your diet takes precedence over exercise. No amount of crunches or sit-ups can outdue a bad diet, so eat clean and watch that belly fat shrink in no time!
So what’s the point of doing ab workouts if it doesn’t target belly fat? Well, the core is your powerhouse.
Every movement, as small as it may be, begins in the transverse abdominis – the deepest muscle within the core.
This muscle acts like a corset around the spine and helps keep it upright.
Having a strong core can help you in all areas of fitness and everyday life activities, so it is important that we include exercises that strengthen the abdominals and core by performing multi-dimensional exercises that allow the body to twist, turn, flex, bend, and hyper-extend.
That’s what today’s workout is all about.
